| Status |
finished |
| Description |
This project, which is based and co-ordinated at the School of Biosciences,
brings together five academic and research institutions from Europe and Africa.
The project involves laboratory, glasshouse and field experiments and requires
close interactions between the European partners and collaborators at field
sites in Africa.
The project's major challenge is to establish a strategic bambara groundnut
improvement programme based on agronomic and molecular approaches.
